Assoc. Prof. Serhat Gül visited the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, from April 12 to 17, 2026, where he took part in various academic activities at the Department of Sciences and Methods for Engineering. During the visit, hosted by Prof. Manuel Iori, Assoc. Prof. Gül presented the study entitled "Scheduling Surgery Requests from Outdoctors and Indoctors under Uncertainty," which he co-authored with Prof. Dr. Melih Çelik and Dr. Arsham Atashi Khoei from the University of Bath, United Kingdom.
